GRAVEL GARDEN, NORTH NORFOLK
Textured naturalistic planting complements the pared-down simplicity of this reinvented space. Once a muddy sloping lawn, it is now an elegant split-level gravel garden.
Corten-steel steps and retaining border edges cut into golden pea shingle seating nooks. Pocket planting with a curated yet relaxed feel, cocoon the space, enhancing this garden's rural and coastal feel.
Improved flow and enhanced usability give this small corner of this cottage's garden an elevated edge. Combining improved access routes between the house, drive and garden studio with an outdoor living space to relax and entertain.
Working in a north Norfolk conservation area has been a lovely opportunity to explore colour, texture and materials in a holistic and sensitive way.

I believe garden design is as much a creative process as it is a collaborative one. Each garden is an opportunity to combine beauty, functionality, and ecological integrity.
By weaving together thoughtful planting, spatial design, and a sensitivity to place, I aim to create outdoor spaces that are restorative, biodiverse, and deeply personal.
