The clients wanted their garden to be a continuous extension of their curated and elegant home.
Low maintenance, full of colour, texture and energy, there are multiple seating areas from formal terraces to hidden nooks and sun traps. Island borders and multistem trees add additional depth and intrigue.
This is a garden designed for living in. As much a social hub for the owners and their guests as it is the wildlife that has subsequently flocked to this stepping stone for nature in the city, improving the biodiversity and ecology of the new build estate on the edge of Norwich.
Curated naturalism - the planting is relaxed, fluid and soft, whilst being bright and uplifting. With a focus on being pollinator-friendly, a long flowering season has been designed into the scheme, ensuring not just a beautiful garden all year round but an environmentally sound design.
I believe garden design is as much a creative process as it is a collaborative one. Each garden is an opportunity to combine beauty, functionality, and ecological integrity.
